Why would I want both a night light and a galaxy projector in one device?

Most people want the galaxy effect for wind-down (15-30 min before bed) and a soft warm glow for actual sleep. Buying both as separate devices means two outlets and two pieces of furniture. The 2-in-1 swaps modes — projector for wind-down, night light for the rest of the night.

How do the slides work?

Magnetic quick-swap slides on the front of the unit. Each slide projects a different image (galaxy, ocean, aurora, etc.). Comes with 4 slides; additional packs available. Swap takes about 3 seconds.

How is this different from the dedicated CosmoGlow Astronaut?

The Astronaut is brighter, covers a larger room, and has the laser-star-plus-nebula effect. This 2-in-1 is dimmer on the projector side but adds a true night-light mode that you can leave on overnight. Trade-off: less impressive light show, but more practical for everyday use.

Does it run all night without overheating?

Yes — LED-based, designed for continuous operation. Runs cool to the touch. Uses about 3 watts in night-light mode (less than a standard nightlight bulb).

How is it powered?

USB-C cable included. Plugs into any USB power adapter or USB-C port. Can also run from a USB power bank for camping or travel.

Can I control it from my phone?

Manual controls only on this model — no app or Wi-Fi. The included remote handles brightness, mode, and timer. Simpler is intentional: nothing to break.
